What you can pick here

  • U-pickMay to Oct

Typical US ranges from extension service crop calendars, not this farm's own dates. Seasons shift by region and weather, so check with the farm.

Before you go

  • Check that it is open. Look at the farm website: hours and crops change with the weather.
  • Bring cash and a card. Some farms take only one.
  • Water, sun protection and closed-toe shoes.
  • Sunscreen and a hat
  • A cooler for the drive home
  • Containers only if the farm allows them
  • Ask about pets before you bring a dog.

More tips: your first u-pick visit.

How to pick like a pro

  • Is it ripe?

Ask at the stand which rows are ready today; farms rotate fields as crops ripen.

  • How to pick

Stay in the rows you are sent to, pick clean (do not leave ripe fruit behind) and do not eat in the field unless the farm says it is fine.

  • Best time to go

Early in the day and early in the season for the best picking.

  • Keep it fresh

Cool produce quickly and keep it out of a hot car.

From the listing

A big part of the reason we started this farm was to provide an avenue for people to connect with their food and engage with nature. We feel very blessed to be able to steward this land, and want to share this blessing with the local community. We also realize that many people are unfamiliar with our farming practices and are interested in learning more--whether to better understand how their food is grown or to replicate these practices on their own land. We enjoy giving personalized tours and providing opportunities to visit throughout the year. We hope you can come visit sometime soon! Chec
